2 kg Sicilian Avocado: €5.50/kg

2 kg Oranges: €1.50/kg (depending on the size of the avocado, you may find an extra half kg of oranges... it's on us!) AT THE END OF THE SEASON, ORANGES CAN BE REPLACED WITH LEMONS AND/OR OTHER PRODUCTS OF EQUAL VALUE.

Sicilian avocado is an excellent product with a delicate, smooth flavor.
We have several varieties of avocado grown in Sicily: the HASS variety, a good size, is creamy and delicate.
Avocado is a truly unique fruit, as it only begins to ripen once picked from the tree, a process that can take up to 10 days.
To ensure a fresh product, our Sicilian avocados are harvested the same day your order ships. For this reason, the fruit may arrive unripe. You'll know a Sicilian avocado is ready to eat when, when you gently press the fruit, it begins to soften. Small black spots may also begin to appear on the skin, another sign of advanced ripeness.
To best preserve your avocado, keep it in a cool place; it's also advisable to store it in a zip-lock bag in the refrigerator.
Excellent for salads, but also for meat or fish dishes, such as veal carpaccio or salmon!
All that's left to do is experiment!
